It's easy to use u-code at command line or unix scripts.

When using STMS GUI to do the transports, how to make the "overwrite original" default?

In other words, how to make it always selected without users' manual check?

I've searched SAP help doc, but it does not say how to configure it.

Well may be its possible to automate this ... I tried but I havenot got any information on this.. May be if we can define some tp parameter in STMS or for tp... but got one thread on SAPFANS..

I can see the code but cannot find the logic for that option.

If I can find the logic for that option, I can alter the code there for my purpose.

This is not enabled by default.

You have to work with your abaper to see if he can customize the functional module TMS_MGR_IMPORT_TR_QUEUE.

There is potential risk of enabling "overwrite" option when transporting the wrong code.

That is not an option in a standard scenario... Usually you don't overwrite the originals but transports modifications, having this enabled by default is something i wouldn't recommend.
