Fiscal Year Error in creating budget

Hi

I am trying creating budget in FR50. Its giving error: Select a year between 2011 and 2012

and its not allowing me to create for year 2010

It should be in your budget profile. But again, what budget - former or BCS - are you going to use? From your last thread I understood, that it will be BCS after all.

Yes.. I have configured BCS. And i am trying to post a PO.

Hi

I am using Budget Control System (BCS)

I am trying creating budget in FR50. Its giving error: Select a year between 2011 and 2012

and its not allowing me to create for year 2010.

I also tried creating with FMBBC. It gave error:

The budget structure settings do not allow budgeting for FM account assignment BCSNEW/BCSNEWFC/BCSCIB/-. The check of the budget structure ended with the return code 1.

Return code 1:

The check of budget addresses is switched on. However the FM account assignment BCSNEW/BCSNEWFC/BCSCIB/- is missing in the budget structure. Insert this account assignment in the budget structure for the budget category 9F. You can use the program for displaying of budget structure settings to find out which budget structure is active for the fiscal year and budget version used.

Let me know how to solve this error

Hi,

In BCS you do not use FR* transactions. You should use FMBB (or FMBBC). Regarding the error you are having in FMBB it concerns the budget structure. Apparently, you defined that your FM area is working with budget stuctures. In this case, all the FM assignment combinations you want to post budget on, should be defined as budget addresses. Please, read carefully all SAP documentation on BCS.

Hi

I created budget document using FMBB. I gave fund, commitment item, funds center and amount of Rs.10000

Now i gave same details in ME21n (PO creation) and gave amount of 3000.

Inspite of this, it gave error that budget exceeded.

So is there any release required for the same ?
