SBO V8.8 PL10: SBO Mailer in Service manager, buttons greyed out....

Hi,

I have an installation of 8.8 where the mailer does not appear to be working. The settings appear to be correct, but the start/stop/pause buttons are all "greyed" out, i.e. I cannot take any of the buttons. The buttons are highlighted correctly for other items in the lservice manager, for example, the license server. I am running the rouitne as the administrator.

Any ideas?

Hi Simon,

Please try the following:

Exit Service Manager.

Go to Start > All Programs > SAP Business One > Server Tools. Right click on "Service Manager" and select "Run as administrator".

Now you should be able to change all settings.

Thanks Bernhard, unfortunatley I had already tried this as I know this can make a difference. The start/stop buttons are also available in the other sections, such as the licence manager abd SBO back up. All the SBO mailer setting have been input, but still I cannot access the start/stop buttons, presumably because the service is still "starting". i have restarted the server also, but still get the same symptom

Upgraded to PL10 and the buttons re-appeared

Hello, now upgraded to SBo 8.8 PL19 and the same conitino exists, teh SBO mailer buttons are "greyed" out in teh server tools... Any ideas?

June 7: This is still an issue, I have also noticed that the SAP Business One Messaging Service is at a status of "Starting" with no options to stop/start etc..
