PO error

Hi Gurus,

A material is being used for the last so many years. Purch orders have been created & grn also done. Now while creating a new PO it is throwing error "No conversion found for NOS to KG". I checked in the alternatie base UOM in the material master. No alternate base UOM has been maintained.

YOu need to maintain UOM in material master additional data, seems like your PO is getting created in NOS whereas UOM maintained for material is KG.

Check whether this UOM is not wrongly mentioned in PO. If its must, then you maintain the above setting. If UOM, NOS doesnot exist, you need to create one in CUNI.

PO is getting created in kgs only & base UOM is kgs.

Should i enter the nos to kg conversion in alternate UOM.

Yes you can maitain. count how many Nos. = kg , than run mm02 than go Purchasing view and maintain Order unit. it will provide you option to maintain conversion
