Leave Request Approval - Non-SAP Manager

Hi:

We are implementing the Leave Request service for our employees in Malaysia. We are reading the org structure to determine the manager to approve/reject the leave request. However, we have some Malaysia employees whose managers are in other countries which we have not implemented SAP HR. Therefore, when these employees go to submit a leave request, the manager will not default in the 'Approver' field and they are not allowed to create the request.

Is there a solution for this type of scenario where the manager's who are not in SAP are able to process leave requests submitted by their employees or does the manager have to be in SAP?
