We'd like to remove unwanted categories from the drop down list when searching for activities in the webui (CRM2007)
In customizing at Customer Relationship Management->Transactions->Settings for Activities->Maintain Categories, Goals, and Priorities->Maintain Categories the list of activity categories contains a number of entries delivered standard that are related to transactions also delivered standard.
Simply deleting them doesn't seem like a good option, so I'm wondering if anyone else has dealt with this.
It would be nice if the function module that builds this list would only add categories assigned to active transactions instead of all transactions. [8^)
