Optimizer

While running the optimizer it is giving the following error message?

"Message Order 0002473413 cannot be delivered and causes costs of 90000"

I have verified the transportation lane and other costs, Everything looks fine.

Can you please advice if there is any setting that is causing this error?

Thanks,

Ramesh.

    Hi Ramesh,

Since there could be some reasons which are not straightforward to understand at first glance of checking, for the error you are getting, a comprehensive check of the all settings will be required.

Optimziations issues do take efforts to understand, sometimes reasons are simple, sometimes not.

Please check OSS note 1447693 ( Demands or stocks not met) and Consulting note on SNP Optimzation note 579373.

Some suggestions given in the OSS note 1447693 are as below:

Set the consistency check on the u201CExtended Settingsu201D tab page in the SNP optimizer profile to u201CAll Checksu201D. Read corresponding message long texts if any.

If you using Discrete optimization , check the possiblity of running the optimization with Liner optimization.

Other measures: 1. Increase capacities of bottleneck resources for shipment and production. Alternatively you can deactivate the control of capacities on the u201CGeneral Constraintsu201D tab page in the SNP Optimizer profile.

    Please check and confirm.

    Regards

    Datta
