Hi expert,

We have shift of watchman who has to work on Public holiday also. When we try to create absence in 2001 for that public holiday, we are getting error. We can not change Holiday Caleder for these 7 employee.

Please give your valuable inputs.

create a substitution for this employee in It2003 for this day make it as working

and do make sure that day type is set correctly in It2003

still showing same error of absence on non working day despite of makeing day type blank in 2003.

Try implementing BADI PT_GEN_REQ, method MODIFY_APPLICATION_MESSAGES. Thuogh this will only hide message for given employee. Change type of message from Error to Information. This "should" allow you to process request.
