Planned order Basic dates

Dear All,

The sales order was input by the CSR on today the delivery date entered in the order was next day. Therefore, the planned order should have been todayu2019s date. This would give us enough time to manufacture the product and deliver to the customer as requested. But the planned get created for next day.

Planning strategy for material is 40 and MRP type is PD and Lot size EX and all scheduling parameters are 0 day.

Can you please update me the factors from sales order which affect planned order dates.

Regards,

Hi,

What might be happening here is

The requirement date is tommorrow, so the system starts to backward schedule from tommorrow from 11:59:59 PM or (the workcenter endtime), & as all the factors are 0, including the inhouse time therefore the start date would also be the same.

If you are doing the lead time scheduling, it starts similarly in the above manner, maybe the the total hrs required to manufacture the product does not cross 1 day.Check for the start & finish time in the planned order, so that you know what time it is taking.

Dear ,

If you do not select Lead Time Scheduling -2 duing MRP run MD02 for your item , then system will consider the GR procesing time(MRP 2 view) , routing operation timing ( Exectuin time -processing , teardown , set up , wait time , move time ) and calcualte the dates .

Goto to Operation -doubleclik on the line item -select Dates -Check Operation related Lates Start and latest finsih date n time .

Check that and revert back .

On which factor from sales order, planned order is basic dates are depends. Because this things are happened for only one sales order. When I tried to replicate it, the planned order dates are working fine. i.e for next dayu2019s delivery date system generate planned order for todayu2019s day.

Hi

Basic dates depends on GR processing time, in house production time and opening period

In the material master two types of in house production times are available:

Lot-size Independent - (Integer values only) MRP 2 orWork Scheduling view

Lot-size Dependent - (real numbers - decimal) Work Scheduling view

also check SD processing time (pick/pack, Load, Transit)

Hi,

As per the information below All operation times are 2:00 hrs

And the Lates dates are

Latest dates

Start 2010/05/19 22:30:00

Finish 2010/05/19 24:00:00

Note the timing of the finish time it is 24 hrs means next day that is why the planned order is showing next day. please check.

Hi Rajasekhar,

The Finish date and time are 2010/05/19 24:00:00. For next day system show 2010/05/20 00:00:01. The sales order created for delivery date 19th on 18th. As we are using 0 day timing for each scheduling parameter (In house production time, Sch Margin Key, GR Processing time), so the planned order should be for 18th not 19th.

Thanks and Regards,
