Automatic PR for ROH materials

Hi Gurus,

I am facing problem in PR creation for ROH material type by MRP. Details are-

ROH material with MRP type VB and re-order point (say 100) is defined. Lot size EX & minimum lot size is defined.Procurement type is F.

This ROH material is part of Material BOM. Production order created for this material.

When I am doing MRP run by MD02 & even MD01, in result it shows OrdRes but no PR.

MD20 is carried out for ROH material (NETCH & NETPL are maintained)

Pls help.

Dear ,

1.Goto Material Master MRP4 view -Keep Individual and Collective Indicator as 2 in MM02

2.Run MRP in MD02/MD03 with following set up :

NETCH -Processing Key

Create PR : 1

Delivery SChedule Line : 1

Cretate MRP List : 3

Planning Mode : 3

Schedule : 2

Mark disolay result before SAVE.

Try and reverty back

Dear ,

If your required Qty is fulliled by the exsiing fixed reciept , Safety Stock and requirement did not reached the re-order level or beyond ( as you said it is below re-order level) , MRP will not trigger PR

Triggering Automatic PR is based on the Re-order level and MRP Type .

Hi ,

I agree with Suhas ,the raw material is planned based on the consumption based planning , so the dependent requirement created by the FG material will not be considered in re-order point planning

Only the re-order point qty falls below the stock then only the requirements get generated

So run the MRP at plant level -MD01 , if the stock falls below ROP then the PR gets generated

Hi,

Change the item category of the raw material to 'N' (non-stock item) in BOM of the finished/SF product. Then run mrp for the finished product. Now system will generate PR for the rawmaterial.

Hi,

In case of raw material is consumption based, PR will not get generated while taking MRP run of FG. Take MRP run of raw material seperately.

Hi,

Take MRP run for raw material seperately by using MD02/MD03, as raw material is consumption based PR will not be generated at the time of MRP run of finished goods. Also check the stock.

I did changed EX to FX, and I am able to see PR as you can see below(MD04 screen details).

20.05.2010 Stock 0 0

21.05.2010 OrdRes PP15100 5- 5-

22.05.2010 PurRqs 0010000670/00010 150 145

22.05.2010 OrdRes PP25100 1- 144

22.05.2010 OrdRes PP35100 150- 6-

I generated req. of 5, as fixed lot size is 150 a PR of 150 is created. There was one more Prod order of qty.1. I again created prod order of qty 150 in it but in this case no PR got generated, eventhough it is below reorder point.

Check if any safety stock is maintained in MM.The First PR is of may be Safety stock.

Check the stock for the material type ROH. also check with FX lot size instead of EX.
