detach the transport request

Hi Experts

I have created 4 TRs for my SD change requests now the text description I have maniatined wrongly.

Now I want to know while creating the new Transort request can we copy the old TR with out touching the functional aspect

and when we created a new TR how to detach the old TR, can you explain the step wise process for detaching the old TR

If your TR is not yet released then you can very well change TR description in Tcode - SE09 , for more details you can ask your BASIS team

Why do you want to do it.

Try this instead, if the old TR is not right and the configruation is not correct and it is already relased and sent to test / production, then create a new transport request with corrections and send it acorss to test and production. Playing around with TR numbers is not recommended.
