Automatic stock posting

Is it possible to do automatic stock posting to one fixed storage location always for certain set of materials(say material starting with letter A) if i select UD code is accept?

Hi,

In Qs51 selected set ==selected set codes --where in accept ud code you can give posting praposal --to unrestricted use.

In material master MM02 --plant data/sto1 view --click on organisation level & give their storage location where you want to post it autamatically.

or in MM02MRP2 Viewin production sto location--give ur sto location where u want to post stock

Once you save UD stock will post to unrestricted to your desire location.

For indiviuall material you have to define it seperatly.but not like material start with A .

Hi Sanil,

I tried the solution. But in MIGO, i cant post the lot as its showing mandatory to enter a storage location, its not coming as default though I maintained the selected set and MM02 setting.

Am I missing something?

Hi,

It is not possible in standard SAP.

You had to use customer enhancement to map this requirement.

Storage location comes as default from Goods Receipt document.
