Hi,
I are trying to access BEX query designer remotely on a BW server.I have specified the SAP router setting in the config file. Also I have verified that the port number 3300 is opened.
However I am getting a error message "Connect to SAP Gateway failed" Error Group

HOWEVER I CAN ACCESS BW REMOTELY USING SAP ROUTER.

did you find a solution for your problem? I have the same situation, after upgrading to SAP Gui 7.20. With Sapgui 6.40 and 7.10 this problem did not occur.
It do not find out why the saprouter is not used for the bex connection when it is started via sapgui transaction?
If you have a sollution, please let me know.

Remember, you are accessing through SBO. This means that you must have the requisite transports loaded in SAP, SAP IK installed on the SBO server and the developer workstation, SBO SAP authentication configured, and be a member of a role imported into BusinessObjects with the requisite permissions. Also, insure the query you are accessing is enabled for access by external applications.
