Workflow item is not delivered to all recipients in agent assignment

Dear all,

in an existing workflow, suddenly one of the assigned agents does not receive workflow items any more which worked fine over years.

The assignment for is based on users (US) and all users are assigned "unlimited".

Information via SWIA:

- the respective missing user is NOT listed in "agents"

- the respectiv missing user is listed in "possible agents" but without the icon "in users inbox"

- the respectiv user in NOT listed in "excluded agents"


How can I get more information what is wrong and why does the user is not getting the item in his inbox?

further information:

- years ago, we changed Task TS20000223 from a general task to a private task in order to prevent uncoordinated work on the workitems

- BOR2042 = release workflow for treasury deals
