Hello,
Can synchronous messages (EO) be archived in XI?
thanks in advance,
regards
Hello,
Thanks for the information. (You ´re right, It´s an error, I meant BE messages and not EO/EOIO :-((((( )
Do you know where I could find the information about this impossibility of archiving Best Effort messages. I know I read something about that somewhere but I cannot find the information now....

Check SAP Note 872388. There are no archiving parameters.
From the note
The following parameters are set for synchronous messages:
- XML Messages with Errors Awaiting Deletion (default = 1 days)
- XML Messages Without Errors Awaiting Deletion (default = 0 days)
As already stated above synchronous messages without errors will per default not be persisted.

Thanks Prateek,
I´ve been reading this note before posting and I saw it too.
Also in the integration engine configuration there´s no way to choose for the ARCHIVE (category PERSIST DURATION) something related to synchronous message archiving, only subparameter ASYNC is available.
I wonder why SAP does not say it clearly and we almost have to guess it (in my opinion).
Anyway thanks a lot,

EO is asynchronous. Synchronous is BE.
No, sync messages can't be archived. It can be deleted though.
