spool list from variance calculation - SAP Community

I run KKS1 in background, after job finished, I view the spool, but to my surprise, I can't see the detail list of producttion order.

from spool, I can only see "variance calculated:1000, error: 2300..."

but no details, if I run in foreground, it takes a lot of time and we can't delete old orders, because we need to view it again in the future

Hi,

it is strongly suggested to set the deletion flag for old PP-orders. This speeds-up variance calculation dramatically and the orders are not lost, they are still in the system but are not taken into consideration during period-end closing.

See details in SAPNET note 397110.

I guess the job log of the background variance calculation does not deliver detailed information. And try to reduce the error messages due to variance calculation (check SAPNET for the messages to get more info) as they will enlarge the job-log.

So maybe you can run the KKS1 in foreground to get detailed infos.
