CATS, TM (infotype 2002) and Activity Allocation

Hi Time Experts -

Currently using CATS and CAT7 to interface Activity Allocations to CO. However, we are changing to a dsitributed HR/PY and FICO landscape (currently both modules are intregrated in a single instance).

Would prefer to use the BAPI based ALE solution for Activity Allocation that is available through the PT68 Activity Allocation (RPTTDOC0) rather than running CAT7 and using ALE message CODCMT. However, will now need to move the Actvity Allocation relevant fields (Activity type, WBS, sender cost center, receiver cost center, etc...) from CATS to TM (IT2002) using CAT6. Currently the Activity Allocation data in IT2002 is not being updated when CAT6 is being run. Can anyone tell me how to update the Activity Allocation data in TM (IT2002) through CATS (when running CAT6)?

Doesn't it depend on the Cost Accounting Variant of the CATS Data entry profile maintained in the TCATS table?

Hi,

I am facing the same issue, where we enter the activity type in cat2 and then thru cat6 the data is updated in infotype 2002. But the activity is not updated in infotype 2002. can you plz help me with this?
