Patch level upgrade - TRIP error

Hi all,

my client is running ERP 2005 and made a patch upgrade (november 2009) and in the process according to them something went awry with Travel Management and TRIP.

Previously it was possible to select a TRIP, open it to check, go back to menu and select settle and then confirm the trip. After the upgrade one has to open the selected trip twice: open the trip, check and upon going back it automatically goes to the Complete Work Item/Cancel page without first being settled. So the user has to click cancel, and restart the process to settle the TRIP before being able to confirm it.

As it is an extra step and due to the number of trips that the client needs to go through weekly, the client is asking whether it is possible to change the setup so that it allows for settling prior to confirmation (in one flow).

Is it conceivable that the settling is now done automaticaly once the user confirms the TRIP and thus the user avoids the whole process of having to click on the 'setle' icon or is there a change to customizing that needs to be done?
