Sales order Addl data B field changes

Dear friends,

I have a requirment here to record document changes for a customized field Zlabdip in sales order additional data B.

The document changes automatically gets recorded for standard SAP fields, how i can add document changes for a Z field.

Kindly suggest.

If the custom field has been appended to table VBAK/VBAP's structure (Depending on it being a Header Addl. data filed or an item one) as an Include, changes do get recorded and you can see them using environment/changes. I am quoting from my current client situation.

As it a Z-Feild, SAP standard change recording will not record the changes made to Z-Feild.

You will have to include the ABAP Code for the same in the Z-program itself, which will record the User Ids & time of change made to the particular Z-Feild.

Ask your ABAPer to do the needful.. .
