Picking a HU from IM location

Can someone explain what the process is to pick a Handling Unit for a delivery from an HU managed IM SLOC?

I know how to pick from WM , but I need help picking from a HU managed IM location where the Handling Unit is stored.

I have resolved this issue.

There was a dubious entry in the WH table which forced the HU status to be set to 'PHEX WHSE'. This is now fixed and HUs are getting picked correctly

I tried doing that but I have number range HU_VERP set up at the client level and this automatically creates a HU number and I cant enter the HU i want.

It is an IM managed HU location not WM managed.

hi use tcode HU02 or go to the packing screen in vl02n...here you can create the HU number you would like.

For IM picking you do not need a transfer order like WM

Firstly is the HU-managed storage location also WM managed ? If yes, then the picking process in delivery is also thru Transfer Order. When you confirm the TO for the SU picked, the corresponding HU will automatically be assigned to the delivery. If the storage location is only HU-managed, then in the delivery, you can go to 'Packing' screen and assign the HU you would like to be picking. Hope this answers you enquiry.
