How to Protect Layout Set for Variant on CRM_DNO_MONITOR

We have created a Variant with a Layout Set for the CRM_DNO_MONITOR to be used by all Developers, Testers, etc..; we have protected the Variant to prevent end-users from changing it; however, are not sure how to protect the Layout Set. End-users have been changing it instead of creating their own Layout Set. Is there a way we can either make a security access change or protect the Layout Set to prevent changes? Thanks

Hi,

You can adjust a screen using a GUIXT script. The GUIXT script is saved in the transaction variant. For a description on how to use GUIXT, refer to the SAP library.

Since this is not a Solution Manager specific issue and relates more to Transaction Variants, I would suggest to open a new thread in one of the appropriate Netweaver Forums.
