hello,
i installed BEx on few computers with xp and everythng is fine. When i tried to do that on win7, can not connect to any server. they are not visible! through SAP gui, i can see all servers and i can mannage connection via standard saplogon.ini.
what is equivalent to SAP's"saplogon.ini" in BEX?
i know, i can connect through gui and tx rmmx, but wonder what s the name of file of sap's r/3 "saplogon.ini" for bex and where it lays? path of BEX's "salogon.ini" i mean. where and how to adjust it?
is it same on xp and win7?
anybody experienced bex on win7?
i am using bi710sp09
and
gui710_13
anybody experienced difficulties uusing sucha combiation (such win7, bex with bi710sp09...?)
are there any further prerequisites that needs to be istalled for using windows 7?
thanx for answer
Hi,
please take a look at SAP Note [ 1409494|http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1409494] that describes this change with SAP Gui 7.20.

Hi,
BEx use the same entries that appear in the saplogon.ini
the problem is that in windows 7 the saplogon.ini must be copies in other path. If you only copy in C:\Windows\ is not working.
Copy the saplogon.ini in:
C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Windows\
And then when open the sap logon or BEx appear all the entries of the file.

Dani
