What is equivalent to R/3 saplogon.ini to BEx?

hello,

i installed BEx on few computers with xp and everythng is fine. When i tried to do that on win7, can not connect to any server. they are not visible! through SAP gui, i can see all servers and i can mannage connection via standard saplogon.ini.

what is equivalent to SAP's"saplogon.ini" in BEX?

i know, i can connect through gui and tx rmmx, but wonder what s the name of file of sap's r/3 "saplogon.ini" for bex and where it lays? path of BEX's "salogon.ini" i mean. where and how to adjust it?

is it same on xp and win7?

anybody experienced bex on win7?

i am using bi710sp09

and

gui710_13

anybody experienced difficulties uusing sucha combiation (such win7, bex with bi710sp09...?)

are there any further prerequisites that needs to be istalled for using windows 7?

Hi,

please take a look at SAP Note [ 1409494|http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1409494] that describes this change with SAP Gui 7.20.

Hi,

BEx use the same entries that appear in the saplogon.ini

the problem is that in windows 7 the saplogon.ini must be copies in other path. If you only copy in C:\Windows\ is not working.

Copy the saplogon.ini in:

C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Windows\

And then when open the sap logon or BEx appear all the entries of the file.
