How to do the quality Inspection for the item not displaying in QA32

Hello!

In the tcode -MB52 , there is a 290 nos. quantity in quality Inspection for the particular material. It has to be cleared. i tried in QA32 to the inspection for that material.but that material is not displaying in QA32. and i also tried in QVM2. in that screen also the material is not displaying. how can i do inspection for that particular material. i have to clear to clear the stock from the quality. can any one help me to clear this issue.

Hi,

If inspection type is active in that case lot should be exist. Search lot in QA32 --In Input screen remove dates ,.only put material code ,plant , Batch number if batch managred

Below select all inmspection lot radio button.

Execute if still lot is not avalable.

Then activate 08 inspection type Try to post with MB1B with movement 321.

New lot will get generated take result record UD & post it to unrestricted.

sir,

I already give the input as u told,i removed the date,lot origin,etc.. i just gave the plant and the material alone.but i am not getting. also i tried 321 movement type also i mb1b. its showing error 'the stock is in quality'. but i have to move the stock from the quality. i can move that stock to scrap also. the thing is i have to move the stock from quality.plz give any suggestion to move the stock from quality.

Hello M.Suba,

1. Try 321 movement in MB1B after Deactivating inspection types in material master.

2. Still if error comes and if you are pretty sure that inspection lot does not exist then go through note 48815 for checking inconsistencies between MM and QM

Sir,

I am unable to decative the material in the material master.It is showing the error that after the stock is empty only it can be able to change the active or deactive. so i am unable to do that. how about the tcode- VLMOVE. whether this tcode is useful to solve my problem. if soo plz tell me how to do the stock posting in VLMOVE.

Hi M.Suba,

1. As per my opinion in order VLMOVE to work you must have material activated for handling unit. Moreover handling units are mostly used in connection with packaging materials. It may not work if you are not using handling units.

2. As per your first posting, you have already checked in QVM2 that not suitable inspection lot is found.

3. Better to try note 48815.

Hi,

Stock can be posted to quality only by two means :

1) In material master no any inspection type assigned and tick at post to inspection stock, if you do GR in such case stock will go to quality without generating inspection lot. To clear this you have to do MB1B using 321 movement type.

2) In material master by activating 01, 04, 09, 10, etc inspection types. Here if you activate these types you will inspection lot in respective insp type selection. Do result recording. give UD and do stock posting.

• As told by others try locating the insp lot by removing the restriction data from selection screen QA32.

• You can check one more thing check the status of that particular batch, batch should not have 'Restricted' status.

in MB51check the material document click on the document and in quantity view find the inspection lot, if the lot is not there

do transfer posting of the stock from quality to unrestricted by 321 movement.

I tried VLMOVE tcode.In that i selected 321 movement and entered the quanity it.but the tab 'Post good movement'

is disabled.what i have to do to proceed further. plz help me. i have to clear that stock from the quality location in MMBE.

Hi,

This may be the case, when the inspection type for the material is not active, but at the time of GR the material has been moved to Quality Stock instead of Unrestricted Stock.

To move this stock from Quality to Un-restricted stock, try the transfer posting of the material with movement type 321(with T.Code MB1B or MIGO).
