Instances execution doubt

Former Member

Hello,

We have finishing a BO upgrade. We import reports and its instances. We stopped job servers and instances are in pending status from march. In the instance manager, we can see that next execution will be in march. At the time we start the job servers, will my users receive instances from march to may?

Thank you in advance,

Jaume

I'd like to know if is possible lose Instances because of the migration automatic proces. And If the next Service Pack can solve it.

I'm sorry, but I don't understand your question. What automatic migration process are you referring to?

Excuse me. I'm referring to Import Wizard. Yesterday, I've discovered that instance's reference in origin server was desapear. Finally, I've found a solution. That solution consists in rescheduling this instances. Do you know a quickly solution?

Now I've other problem. This instances have a special calendar. This calendar was imported correctly, but the instances don't use their special calendar.

Thank you in advance,

Jaume

yes and no. You won't receive an instance for those that have passed the endtime. But any instance that is still waiting for the endtime to expire will run.

Here's an example. Let's say I schedule a recurring report to run daily for 1 week, starting on a Monday. I turn off all my jobservers prior to scheduling this report. Friday morning I decide to start my jobservers, allowing the instance to run. What I won't see is a new instance created for Monday, Tuesday, etc. What I will see is one instance created for Friday.
