Partner determination procedure assignment not possible

Hi All,

1) I had created the partner determination procedure

2) Created partner function in procedure

But while doing partner detremination procedure assignment i am unable to that and not able to create the new group customer account group, while doing so getting the message "This function is not possible"

Please guide me how i to proceed further with this setting.

1. Set up partner determination procedure.

The first checkbox is to make the partner u201CNot Modifiable,u201D that is, once it is in the

customer master record it cannot be changed. Generally, this is only used for the Sold-to

Party.

The second checkbox is to make the partner function mandatory, that is, the partner

must be determined or manually entered in the customer master record.

2. Assign Partner functions to the partner determination procedure

3. Assign the Partner determination procedure to the customer account group.

4. Assign individual partner functions to the account group

Can u please elaborate where exactly you are facing problem !!!

Here i have created my own Partner Determination Procedure and than assigned to standard Partner Function (like: SP, SH, BP, PY, etc).

Now i am trying to do Partner Determination Procedure Assignment but while trying to "copy as button" or "new button" i am getting message "This functiona is not possible".

I hope it is clear now.

Please tell me and guide me.

Hi Nitin,

You don t have to create or copy it !! all your doc type ( sales order) /Acount group ( customers) are there .

So the new partner determination procedure that uhave created just assign it the resp doc type or account group !!!

Its an standard functionality u dont have to create

Hi,

First create your Partner Functions

Then create new "Partner Determination Procedures"

Highlight that and go in to "Partner Functions in Procedure" and assign those new Partner Functions to that

Then go to "Partner Determination Procedure Assignment" and assign it to your account group.

Your answer is very helpful and i have done the Set Up for Partner Determination for Customer Master.

Now the same problem facing for Set Up for Partner Determination for Sales Document Header,

Here also while doing Partner Determination Procedure Assignement same thing unable to create.

Please guide me and help me out.
