Release strategy not working

Dear Experts,

For me release strategy for PO & SA is not working,

My charectritics are: Purchasing org , Purchasing document type and Value.

I am creating a PO or SA with same Pur org, document type and the values as per charectritics but when i m going for a release i am getting message document is not relevant for release.

Earlier it was working but now a days the problem is coming and it is giving same message for all types of document types.

could you all please help me on this as early as possible

look up the classification view in release strategy, it should have the characteristics, if not you need to maintain them again through CL20n/Cl24N which will fill up the characteristics in the classification view and then your release strategies should work.

Chrectrisitcs are maintained properly... i varified it.

i check in to simulation also and there is not any error......still not getting why it is not triggering the Release.

could you please extend furhter help on this....

Goto CL24 ,give your calss and strategy ,check the status it sould be 1- released

You say, earlier it was working and it stopped now.

When you create the PO or SA, do you see Release Strategy tab in the PO header.

If yes, meaning Release strategy is active.

Does it show the correct Release codes?

Did anything change from last time it worked to now? Did any authoirizations change?

Hi,

Go to CL20N and check for your release class , if it is blocked unblock it , it will work.
