SAP TPM integration SAP ERP Accrual independent sales volume

We are working in the integration of SAP TPM and Accruals (that most be created in ECC) created automatically independet of the sales volume.

We made all the relevant customizing (Adapters, Rebate agreements, condition type, cond. tables, etc) and until today we can't create an automatic Accrual, so I would like to know if it's possible because we found the note "456247 - Accrual conditions w/ calculation type 'B' - fixed amount" that says that is not possible.

In case it is possible we could be supported with the steps to execute this requirement.

Hello Patricia,

if I understand the process correctly you want to build some kind of lump sum accruals - in CRM you can calculate the accruals using the appropriate accrual calculation profile. Please refer to the SCN wiki for further information:

Accrual Calculation Methods for Lump Sum Key Figures in TPM

This is however calculating the accruals in CRM. For ERP accruals I'm not sure - the CRM accrual posting is transfered to ERP, but I'm not sure if this is fulfilling your business requirement.

First of all, thank you for reply me I tag you because I follow many post that you made.

That's correct, we are using the Accrual Method NB_DAYS, but the issue is related to ERP. The calcultation and post are correct in CRM and the rebate agreement exchange is transferred correctly, but we are trying to create automatically the accrual document in ERP for financial and accounting all these independent of the sales volume.

Under this case we unknow the steps for create automatically that kind of documents, I check the manuals and post related but all of these talks about dependent sales volume that says that we have to put our price conditions "campaign determination" in Sales Order and follow the process of sales (sales order, delivery, billing, financial documents) for create the accrual.

- Dependent sales volume

- Independent sales volume

So in the previous note 456247 and other publications we find that if we are working independently of the sales volume, it's not possible to generate the ERP accrual automatically and before proposing a development I would like to know if there is a standard way to solve this requirement.

In the note says:

2. A rebate agreement INdependent of sales volume exists. (The 'Rebate procedure' flag is set to 'A' in Customizing of the condition type.) A special feature of this agreement type is that no automatic accruals are posted in general. In spite of this, the condition is stored (with the amount zero) to ensure the statistics update. Here the calculation type has no meaning and is also stored as in a 'normal' agreement.
