Hi
I have initially transported a folder from DEV to Q system. After that I have deleted and added some iviews in DEV. Again I have transported the entire Folder to Q.
Now the problem:
In Portal Content in Q I can still see the deleted iviews still appearing. So I need a COMPLETE folder overwrite from root of the transported folder from DEV to Q system
Please suggest
Thanks in Advance

Hi ,
This is not possible to delete the objects through transport.
while transporting we are handling only the objects that are added to package , so you have to delete them manually.
We had the same issue and investigated a lot on this , but no positive result.
I got one post like first have to add the object which one need to delete from Q system into package in dev.
Then delete that object from package so it will have a broken link and then transport to Q system.
But this was also not worked.

Hi,
You have to delete the iviews individually directly from QA system. Objects that you want to delete can not be done via portal transport system unlike in R/3 where in objects that you have deleted will be reflected in the transport. When you transport objects in portal, the system is only touching the objects that is included in the transport (in your case the whole folder). Any objects that you have deleted or changed in DEV (even if you are transporting the same folder), will not be touched in QA therefore, will not be deleted.
Thanks.
