Central Person (CP) won't transfer because CE not on.

We don't have Concurrent Employment turned on. However, the CP object type still is needed on HRP1000 and HRP1001 in order to run payroll and other transactions (and every employee in our production system has a CP record). TMDS won't create a valid CP object type because it says we don't have concurrent employment turned on. (I moved over one persons PA and PD data using the P object type and it did create a CP record, but it had a blank object id and gave a warning that the CP records wouldn't be moved because CE was off.)

I tried a variety of things and was able to move over the CP record, but only by doing a PD only transfer selecting by object type CP for that person. However, because I didn't select anything for PA, it wiped out all the infotypes and cluster data except for 0, 1, 2, and 3.

So I'm in a quandary on how I can move over all the PA and PD data for a person that will include the CP records on HRP1000 and HRP1001 if we don't have concurrent employement turned on.

Hi John,

I hope there should be really no problem.

Kindly mention the support level of TDMS and ERP release which your using currently.

The best thing is maybe to open an OSS message and we'll look into this rapidly.

Regards,

Krishna Prasad.

Production environment:

Version SAP ECC 6.0

DMIS_HR - Release 2008_1_700, Level 0004

SAP_HR - Release 600, Level 0048

TDMS environment:

Version SAP EHP 1 for SAP NetWeaver 7.0

DMIS_HR - Release 2008_1_700, Level 0004

I was able to get the CP record to pull over for a P object by putting A209 in the evaluation path. I also put P_S_S_OC in the Additional Evaluation Path field, but the positions, jobs, and orgs tied to that Person ID didn't come over.

So I suspect my problem is figuring out exactly what Evaluation Path (and maybe Additional Evaluation Path) I need to use in order to pull over an employee along with all their positions, jobs, organization, and their central person. Right now I'm getting one or the other, but not both.

How are other's pulling the data when copying HR data into a client with no existing PA or PD data? What evaluation paths are you using?

Thanks,

John
