Exporting Object overview to Excel

Is there an easy way to export the object overview of an InfoCube to Excel? I don't want the data, just the data fields so that I can compare to other cubes/data sources.

No problem at all... completely understandable. The easiest way would be through transaction se16, once you login to BW. Hopefully you have access to that one. If so, just put in the table name and it will generate the screen, after going to the transaction.

There are a number of other ways you could tackle it, but hopefully you have access to that transaction...

Thanks

Sure. Start with table RSDCUBEIOBJ. This is a strait forward cube to object table. Similarly, you can use RSDODSOIOBJ for DSO mapping.

Let me know if you need more than that.

Thanks

How do I view a table? Do I query it with query designer? Or do I use a transaction code to view tables. If trans code, which one?

Sorry for the simpleton questions. I have mostly front end SQL / Hyperion Interactive Reporting background. I just switched jobs and trying to learn the DW side while simultaneously learning SAP.
