how to create physical file

Hello All,

I am downloading PO details using a standard program which downloads the file to a physical path.But that physical path is not present in AL11.SO i want to change the physical path in the selection screen.when i do that it throws an error saying the file doesnt exists.So how to create a physical file and assign that in the selection screen?
