Hi Experts,
We started our research in order to implement SAP e-recruiting and as expected the first big decision to make is which landscape we should use, as mentioned in OSS 1017866 there are different ways to set up the landscape. But I would like to heard from your experiences Pros and Cons for those options.
Options:
1. The front end for external and internal candidates runs on the same system as the back end (this is the same system constellation as when you use BSP (Business Server Page) as the interface technology)
2. The front end for external and internal candidates runs on a system other than the back end. Therefore, you can set up the front-end system in the demilitarized zone. The back-end system is behind the firewall.
3. The front end for external candidates runs on a system other than the back end. Therefore, you can set the front-end system for external candidates in the demilitarized zone. The front end for internal candidates runs on the same system as the back end and is behind the firewall as a result.
I have read from Roman Weise posts about Integrated scenario that says:
" Furthermore you get in trouble when using structural authorization"
Can anyone or Roman itself expand little more about that? What is the limitation or the conflict with Structural Authorization and E-recruiting in an Integrated scenario?
Really appreciate your help,
RR.
