Conversion char to fltp

I have a character type value of 59.80 I want to convert to float type. After assign that value to a variable of FLTP type it shows (5.9799999999999997E01) but i want (5.9800000000000004E01). I know there is the function CHAR_FLTP_CONVERSION,

it shows dump while using this function module. Is there any other alternative way.
