Regarding triggering workflow

Hi Gurus,

i created web dynpro application for cretate customer (xd01). by using standard bapi create_bapi_fromdata1

now i want trigger workflow and approve/reject create customer'if approved i will save in data base it has give the customer no.

pl help me on this requirement . i am new to workflow..

i got some standard workflows

those r 1) ws20000075

2) ws20000084..

i am trying with these workflows whele executing it giving error..

pl help me.

As soon as when the customer is created and you click on submit button, then under the submit button action make usre you call the FM SAP_WAPI_START_WORKFLOW. and to pass data to the Workflow container you have to make use of the tables parameter SIMPLE_CONTAINER, for more information on how to start and pass the values to the workflow container search SDN by using the key SAP_WAPI_START_WORKFLOW you can find n number of threads...

Thanks its working little bit.

now workflow is triggering. my problem is i need to check the data and approve /reject . if data approve the the data it has to store in the *bapi * then that bapi will generate the customer no.

how to do this all process ..

pl give me brief explication.

In the workflow what you can do is the include decision step in the workflow which you are trying to trigger, and in the decision step create tow outcomes APprove and Reject, include a background activity method, which actully calls the bapi to create cutsomer number..

In the reject branch do not include any thing since i think ( assuming) that on rejecting i think you do not have to creata a customer...

how to check the data in workflow ..this is the problem

workflow is triggering now i need to carry froward then i will use user decision for approve /reject

if approve it has to create a customer no (bapi) by using bapi.

reject no need to create just i will send mail u r customer no is rejected so so resion..

my exact problem now is carry forward and it has to save in that bapi..

how to do this give me brief procedure.

this is my exact requirement.

create a workflow object which gets trigerred when the customer master record is being created and this should go for approval and finally once approved, the customer master record should be updated to database.

how to do this..

when we give inputs in xd01. and save ,when it is save it has trigger workflow, and data should be carry forword and approve
