Analytics Cloud Live Data Connections to SAP BW Error

Hi SAP Expert

We are trying to connect with reference to SAP Help.

When connecting from Chrome, it will be "NET :: ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID" Error.

IE made a connection setting but I can not create a model.

"NET :: ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID" Please tell me the way to resolve.

The following settings described in HELP have already been implemented.

• Allow pop-up windows from the SAP Analytics Cloud domain: [*.]sapbusinessobjects.cloud.
• Allow 3rd party cookies from the SAP BW server's domain or the domain of your reverse proxy. For example, in Internet Explorer 11, go to Internet Options Security Trusted Sites, add your domain name, then select Enable Protected Mode

Hi,

you BW should be on SSL - check the Developer Tools and you probably see the message about SSL.

did you create a certificate for the BW system and implement it into Chrome?

This part is ufortunately missing in the SAP documentation and was our problem when connecting to BW with Live Connection. And I think it was the same error message.

You may have a look into the Chrome Dev Tools. There is a more detailed message available.

The preferred browser with Analytics Cloud is Chrome. IE has limited functionality; have you tried this with Chrome?
