How to not allow HU's in different slocs to be packed via HU02

Hello Gurus,

Here's my scenario:

I have 2 HU managed storage locations say H1 & H2 ( Both these slocs belong to a same plant) . We have a unique process and user have access to HU02 and there are a few reports through which they can view HU's available for a certain combination ( prod. order / SO + line item).

now, when i go to HU02, im able to pack an HU from H1 into an HU thats existing in H2 and vice versa. Also, the sytem doesnt stop or give any warning.

What i would like to know, is how can I stop this behavior - where if the HU belongs to different slocs, then this manual packing in HU02 fails.

Please let me know if more information is needed on this.

Hi,

I'm not sure this can be solved via standard settings...if not, you shoul try BADI_HU_DIALOG.

Thats correct. I also thought thats it may not be possible wth the std.setting and i might have to go with some custom enhancement here .

This can be accomplished with warehouse management, however I do not believe this is possible with just IM
