IW42: time confirmation per personnel number

Hello experts!!

I am trying to confirm the actual costs (labour) for a work order through transaction IW42. The thing is that I want to assign the labour per work order and personnel number. My question is whether or not it is possible to use partner functions as employees instead of having to activate HR in order to carry out the tiem confirmation by personnel number.
