How to assign more than one data providers to navigation pane in a workbook

Hi All,

I have a Bex workbook. In the 1st tab - i have got 2 tables which are assigned to different Queries.

One table is showing Actuals and Another table is showing Plans.

To 'drill-down' --- can i use one 'Navigation pane' and assign both of the Queries to it?

If Yes, how to do it?

If No, whats the best work around to get the solution?

Thanks,

Nisha

One small sugesstion is to create an Infoset (Xn - Intersection on Actual Vs Plan) on both the 2 cubes (A&P). You can use single query to compare the results in this manner.

I think its not possible to assign more than one data provider to a navigation pane.

Create two navigation panes, one for each query.

      Hi Pravender,

      Thanks for your reply.

Yes, it seems you are right, even i can't see any option to choose more than one Data provider!!

Ok, if i want to assign one Navigation pane for each Query, can i make it display using a 'Filter Button' on the top which we usually have in the Bex analyzer?

i.e. There will be two filter buttons - one for each Query or result set.

And, when we click on the Filter Button, it will display the Navigation Pane?

      Thanks,

      Nisha
