Best practice needed. Combining different "time" dimensions on hourly basis

Hi community,

I'm looking for a best practice. I have files that have an incoming time stamp (Import) and an outgoing time stamp (Send) after the whole workprocess is complete. Both times are in HHMMSS format. I have now created two other dimensions in my data model for each of the times, where I only look at the hours HH.

I would now like to see, to which full hours, files are imported and when they leave the system. I want to get an overview of the load of the machine.

In the screenshots I already have a solution. However, I would like to show both lines in one diagram.

In the picture above you can see that most files are imported into the system in the morning. Below you can see, that most files are also sent in the morning, but in a much smaller number. The # means that these files have not yet been sent. The diagram in the picture below is defined exactly like the one you can see in "Builder" on the right - except the Dimension - it is SENTHOUR instead of IMPORTHOUR.

In the end, I need a common dimension "hour" for my dimension IMPORTHOUR and SENTHOUR, but I don't know how to do that best.

I am very grateful for every help and every tip!

Thank you

best regards,

Thorsten
