Hi,
Our client is already using WM set up.
Now they want to implement RF process in WM.
Is it mandatory to activate SU management?
If yes can it be done now for some storage types as already the storage types are being used without SU active?
Wish to know any other pre-requisites for implementing RF?

Have a look at all the config. and help text under Logistics Execeution \ Mobile Data.
Do you intend to use bar coding ? If so need to consider how you will identify stock for moving and that you have taken it to the right place e.g. bar code labelling requirements.

You don't have to activate SU management but it can help depending on how you want to identify stock for TOs.
You activate SU management at Storage Type level (do not activate for interim !). Consider your existing stock before you switch on SUM if you go down this route,

Hi ,
Having SU is not a prerequise for RF, RF will basically be used to confirm movement of material in WH now these confirmations can be done based on transfer orders
with RF users will scan TO numbers from label and then confirm the same using RF device,
i couldn't get ur question about using RF for storage type? i think u are trying to mention storage type in relation to SU (because SU ia activated for storage types)
