Query - Load Balancing

Hi,

I have a query on load balancing. Our ECC production landscape has one CI and 2 Dialog servers. How will the load be balanced between the 3 servers. Will the load at any point be equally divided by 3 amongst the 3 servers? Or will all the load go into the first server and then after a threshold go into the 2nd server and then into the 3rd server? Thanks to clarify.
