Hi all,
I am trying to implement recipe management best practice for demo purposes and have come across an error with composition output of substance in which I need some help.
The BPP doco outlines that by choosing the Composition tab and selecting Calculate template Values that the system inserst the caculated quantites for the composotion items of my recipe.
However when I click Calculate Template Values I get the following error in the log:
System of equations calculation tool could not be instantiated
Message no. FRMLCALC030
Can someone please help in how I generate the copmposition of the output substance?
Thanks in advance,

hello,
At Recipe Management message No. FRMLCALC030 is meant to acknowledge
that there are EH&S Easy Expert connection issues, and since formula
explosion uses Easy Expert for calculations, it should be running
and available via RFC connection 'EHS_EXPERT'.
For more information on current installed EH&S Easy Expert, see the
Set Up Easy Expert on following IMG activities :
o EH&S > Basic Data and Tools > Tools > EH&S Expert
> Set Up EH&S Expert
This is a link to the corresponding EH&S customizing that
explains setup of EasyExpert (depending on the used R/3
release the customizing path may be different).
o Production Planning for Process Industries > Master Data
> Recipe Management > Set Up EH&S Customizing:
Section: "Basic EH&S Settings"
If EH&S Easy Expert is already setup and running, please check the
RFC connection using transaction SM59. Whereas this connection is
running properly, then you may check whether environment parameter
EXPERT_DEFAULT_DESTINATION ('EHS_EXPERT') is linked with this RFC
destination.
Moreover, referS to documentation found on note 568302 for further
information to update the EHS Expert as well as to the document:
"Establish_the_EHS-Expert_Server" on the attachment.
regards,
Jane
