Dear All,
For Production order we take 007 as valuation variant
How to go about Process order
what will be settings for OPK9 & OPN2
As i couldn't find any Std Settings for process order for above t-codes
Please throw some light
Regards
Madhu
Hello sir,
I think you could use the same setting ie the valuation variant as for the production order,

Dear,
There is no difference for production order or process order form costing point of view Just go to controlling tab of OPL8 or COR4 and check it.
In OKK4 or OKKE or OKKX or OKY0 or OPN2 we define the valuation variant so OPK9 setting will remains same for process and production order to calculate actual cost.
Hope clear to you.

Kumar,
When we talk about costing variant, production order is the generic term used for both production as well as process order.
You can see that the costing variant used for production and process order are same i.e. PPP1 (Unless you define your own).
You can compare the controlling tabs for process order type & production order type in COR4 & OPL8.
Hope this helps you.
