Process order Valuation Variant

Dear All,

For Production order we take 007 as valuation variant

How to go about Process order

what will be settings for OPK9 & OPN2

As i couldn't find any Std Settings for process order for above t-codes

Please throw some light

I think you could use the same setting ie the valuation variant as for the production order,

Dear,

There is no difference for production order or process order form costing point of view Just go to controlling tab of OPL8 or COR4 and check it.

In OKK4 or OKKE or OKKX or OKY0 or OPN2 we define the valuation variant so OPK9 setting will remains same for process and production order to calculate actual cost.

Kumar,

When we talk about costing variant, production order is the generic term used for both production as well as process order.

You can see that the costing variant used for production and process order are same i.e. PPP1 (Unless you define your own).

You can compare the controlling tabs for process order type & production order type in COR4 & OPL8.

My only point is every where it is defined as Production order

but now ware Process order is coming into the picture as per Std Settings

so i was Looking into that
