Goodday All,

We are currently in the midst of evaluating to upgrade to the new EhP2 for our Netweaver 7.0. One question here. Will the upgrade have any effect to our existing portal layout? In other words, just by upgrading, will our end user see thigns differently thru the portal? Thanks in advance

Regards

Hi,

Please check the new features that are enhanced as part of ehp 2 for your reference here.

Thanks for the reply. I have gone thru the documents in SAP. My question is basically referring to the Ajax framework. If we decide to upgrade to the new 7.02 version, will all my existing page framework switch to the new Ajax based? OR do i need to activate the Ajax framework first? Thanks

Hi,

The Ajax framework page would be a component that comes with EHP2 and would reside in the same place where your default framework pages does. You would have to assign the AJAX framework page to the users to get the look and feel of AJAX.

Have a look at this [guide|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/90970668-e62d-2d10-49a3-d1dc68541646?QuickLink=index&overridelayout=true]
