availability control

Hi all

My client ask me if we can have availability control activated when creating purchase request as well as transforming it into purchase order.

In fact when creating purchase request, i can see availability control activated on investment order, but when transforming this purchase request into purchase order, the availability control is not seen.

If someone knows if we can have AVC both at the time we creat P.request as weel as Creating Purchase order from a P.request.

Best regards.

Hi,

I don't get your point... When you create PO from PR, the commitment of PR is decreased and instead, the commitment of PO is created. So, basically, the available budget is not changing from this action.

Hi and thanks a lot for your quick answer.

i'll give hereunder an example that i'm facing actually :

AVC is active at 80% with warning message, blocking at 100%.

with a PR, the AVC displays the warning message,

when creating PO from the prévious PR, no warning message displayed.

Thanks in advance

That's perfectly normal; when you create PO from PR, you don't consume budget anymore, so there is no need in warning message.

hello

in fact, this is i think an SAP standard solution?

My client asks me to have this warning message also in the PO (that was created from PR).

thanks for your comments

It's not possible in standard (furthermore, this requirement has no functional background): the budget is already consumed, so why to issue a message?).
