Hi,
From any external web page, do we have any link which directly takes to Infoview My favorite folder?
I believe we can use "open Document" syntax to open reports from external application, but not to folders.
Is there any other way, to connect from web Page to "My Favorites" folder directly?
Our environment - BO XI 3.1 SP2.
Thanks
Jai
Log into InfoView as any user.
click the Preferences link in the top right corner.
In the "InfoView Start Page" section, change the radio button from 'Home' to 'Favorites'.
InfoView should now start in the user's Favorites folder whenever they log into InfoView. Keep in mind, this is a per-user setting. ie, each user that wants this will need to have this radio button set in their Preferences.

Hi Jai,
You can customize the infoview home page to show your favorite folder. If you do so when you access infoview from external website, it will prompt for username and login and when you enter the credentials, it will take you by default to your favorite folder.

Sanjay

No, opendocument syntax is used for opening reports directly. If you want to display an Enterprise folder, you'll need to log into InfoView, CMC or another custom built front end. However, the steps given above will allow a user to log directly into InfoView and have their favorites folder displayed immediately without having to navigate to it.
