List of Expired documents

Dear All,

I have a requirement wherein I need to send an e-mail alert to the concerned persons containing the list of documents which are about to expire in few days.

I know this can be achieved by maintaining EXPIRYDATE characteristic and some Z-development.

But before doing that I just wanted to know if there is some standard functionality which would let me do it.

Hi,

This is done in workflow development. Once the status is predefined for example:Archived etc.

Then based on this status data or the own defined date the documents can be sent to concern people.

The workflow events like e-mail can be maintained based on this.
