Some BPF questions

Hi colleagues,

A prospect is asking the following about BPF (they will probably install 7.5 MS):

By default BPC does not provide complex timing and other management-related functionality such as task routing and escalation for BPFs.

What might be the scenarios in order to achieve the required level of functionality? Are there any examples how one could meet the requirements such as this:

Timing. It should be possible to define start dates and deadlines for individual tasks and the BPF as a whole.

Reminders. It should be possible to configure reminders so that participants get notified when the tasks assigned to them become available or will be due shortly.

It should be possible to notify "emergency user" or supervisor if particular user fails to cope with the task.

Would it be viable to integrate third-party process management products?

Any ideas?

Hi Cecilia,

You can enable the mail sending feature. With this, whenver a step is completed, a mail will be sent to the user so that the user can prepare for his/her step. You can specify the timelines, etc in the body of the mail.
