Error during SAP Note upload

Hi Gurus,

I am having problem to upload my SAP Note in SAP Development. I have downloaded the note from SAP Marketplace.

When I'm trying to upload from tcode SNOTE, I received this error "Inconsistent Data Container"

Any ideas? Appreciate your feedback.

The note upload will work ONLY if you have downloaded it using SAP Download Manager. When you upload this note, SNOTE tries to compare this with the latest version available at service marketplace thru the RFC mentioned in the previous post and it also give a message if that RFC is not working. But there is nothing to worry about as you have the option of going ahead even though it was unable to verify at service marketplace. And this is ok because you would definitely have downloaded the latest version of the note.

So, simply put, download it only through sap download manager and upload into SNOTE.

Thanks for your reply. My problem is resolved now.

Previously, I downloaded the SNOTE using SAP Download Manager and the same error appears.

What I did was, I tried downloading the SNOTE from SAP using RFC and it works.

Hi SS,

Did u try to download the snote thru sap download manager and upload the same manually...the best way to apply snote is thru SNOTE transaction, do ensure that SAPOSS rfc connection should be working fine.

if you are trying to download manually , use download corrections option in that note and download the same thru download manager, it should resolve your issue

What is the SNOTE which you are trying to implement and for which system and component? Check if the note is downloaded completely.
