Cannot initialize application data. Could not detect deployed components.

Hi Experts

I was doing the PI 7.10 SP09 stack application.

While the patch deployment was running in JSPM the session got killed.

And now when I again login in JSPM after giving the password inputs I get the following error;

1) TroubleTicket_01.txt error log

The execution ended in error.

Cannot initialize application data.

Could not detect deployed components.

Could not detect deployed components.

com.sap.engine.services.dc.api.explorer.RepositoryExplorerException: [ERROR CODE DPL.DCAPI.1023] DCNotAvailableException.

Reason: [ERROR CODE DPL.DC.3218] Deploy controller is not ready to serve yet. Probably due to un/deploy operation after offline phase is performing at the moment.

I checked some old messages in sdn.

As per one solution I applied the j2ee kernel manually-> rebooted the box but still i have the same issue.

Please assist as I cant proceed ahead.

You can try to deploy the packages via the SDM tool.

First try only to deploy the JSPM tool. If that is not working, you could deploy all components via SDM.

There is no sdm in PI 7.1.

I have resolved the error by killing the process ID.

In the jspm command promt error it was showing the process id.

I killed that process id from task manager and stared again the jspm.

It opened fine and i can now see my components.
